Data Protection & Privacy Policy

 

Overview

The Wildwood Club takes your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to process your bookings and to provide the products and services you have specifically requested from us. We will never sell or rent your information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Any information submitted, by you, when booking at The Wildwood Club will only be used for the administration of the sessions and to ensure your health and safety when you attend a Wildwood Club session.

 

What personal data we collect:

Your name (the name of the adult making the booking);

Your child’s name (the name of the child attending The Wildwood Club session);

Your child’s age (the age of the child attending The Wildwood Club session);

Your telephone number;

Your email address;

The name of an emergency contact;

The telephone number of an emergency contact;

The details of any pre-existing medical conditions or allergies you have advised us of;

The details of any Special Educational Needs you have advised us of.

 

What we do with the information we gather:

By submitting a booking you are consenting to us holding your own personal data, but are also giving parental consent to us holding the personal data of the child (who is attending the session under your supervision) on their behalf. 

By booking a session, you give consent that any personal data that you provide to The Wildwood Club may be kept on record and used for the purpose of enabling you to make use of the services provided by The Wildwood Club (including for the purposes of communication and health and safety).

You agree that personal data provided may be shared with persons who are involved with the provision of services by The Wildwood Club.

Your personal details will be recorded, processed and kept securely in paper and/or digital formats by The Wildwood Club.

We will continue to hold your personal data after the sessions for insurance purposes.

 

Right of access

You can access all information we hold relating to you and your child at anytime.  You agree to notify The Wildwood Club if you would like any or all of your personal data to be deleted from our records or if you become aware that the data held is not accurate.

However, if you request the deletion of your data prior to attending a session that you have booked, we will have to cancel your booking for health and safety reasons.

 

Photographs and videos

Permission to take photographs during sessions, and for these photographs to be used on social media and in marketing materials, is sought at the time of booking a session. Participants for whom we do not have permission to include in photographs will not be included. All photographs are stored securely and anonymously, if parents request that their data is removed all photos will be deleted. The photos may be shared with parents or in various promotional materials including on our website and social media sites, for our Forest School. Children’s names will not be given in any publication.
